James and Viv have stepped down from the City and are taking a scary step of faith to pioneer a new work. We wish them well and give them our support and blessing in this new venture.

Tim and Karen have also stepped out of the comfort of the larger congregation in the East to take the leadership of the City. This is a good move. It is so hard having Tim in the East when the South Africans seem to be winning everything. Bad enough the Rugby World Cup but now they are dominating the Super 14!

On Wednesday Murray Burton, Bill Kathagen and I had a good meeting with the Ministry of Education on the planned expansion of our college. It all looks very positive but many details to work out. Bill is working part-time to lead us through this. He did the original setting up of MTC and integration of the college.

I’m really enjoying our series on the Holy Ghost. The ministry of Craig Marsh in the City last night was outstanding. Sound teaching with his good Brethren roots. What an amazing healing he has had. Bill Subritsky is next Thursday; unfortunately I will be in the South Island with a National Leadership Team meeting, Southern Regional and the opening of our new church building in Alexandra. Bill prayed for me when I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit about 35 years ago. That was a life-changing event.
